How do I lift a Porsche Boxster correctly and safely with a 2-column lift?

Special features of the vehicle: The Porsche Boxster is a sports car with very low clearance.
Empfehlung: For the Porsche Boxster, as for all sports cars with low clearance, we recommend the use of low profile arms. Always check the maximum carrying capacity of these arms.

1. For optimal door opening and ideal weight distribution, always drive in the car dead center between the columns.
2. Place the car so that the left and right rear-view mirrors are aligned with the column.
3. Position the carrying arms. Lower the pick-up pads to the lowest position before positioning the arms.
4. Roll up the pick-up pads as high as possible. This way you are guaranteed the best stability.
5. Lift the vehicle shortly, then stop. Now check the gearing and that all arms kept their correct position under the car. Adjust if necessary
6. Lift the vehicle to the desired height.
