Lifting safely - Episode 6 - Mercedes Sprinter

How do I lift a Mercedes Sprinter correctly and safely with a 2-column lift?

Special features of the vehicle: The pick-up points of the Mercedes Sprinter ar far apart. Special adapters are required.
Our recommendation: Use "Prisma" adaptors on the carrying arms in the back, and special "pin" adaptors on the front carrying arms. With a 5 ton lift with double joint arms (like our POWER LIFT HL 2.50 NT) all pick-up points can be reached easily.

1. Place the adaptors on the carrying arms in the back. You can choose between "Prisma" adaptors or adaptors that are placed on the original pick-up pads. Caution! The adaptors placed on the pick-up pads are only recommended up to a total lifting weight of 4 tons.
2. Place the special "Sprinter" adaptors on the carrying arms in the front.
3. Check the load of the vehicle. Then drive in the vehicle, positioning it dead center between the two columns.
4. Position the carrying arms under the vehicle. In the front, you can choose between the original pick-up points designated by the manufacturer, or alternative pick-up points.
5. Lift the vehicle slightly. Check the position of the pick-up pads and that the gears are engaged. Adjust if necessary.
6. Lift vehicle to desired height.
